A beautiful time of expansion for a woman, and growing of her bubba. A sweet initation from maiden to mother, where a doorway opens another face of Woman to be revealed.
This sacred gestation period needs as much support as the preparation for delivery. In fact the support during pregnancy can effect the ease of labour. By tending to the ever stretching womb, housing our little cherub we can optimise the blood flow to placenta and through all the fibres of the growing womb, allowing the natural intelligence of this process to perform her magic. In other words, keep the muscular side of the womb relaxed and soft as it stretches, allowing optimal function for when the birthing day presents.
Bookings from 20 weeks are welcomed.
It has been observed that some women who have been receiving massage throughout pregnancy have a smoother labour, and a quicker second stage.
After 3 weeks postpartum , the new Mama can receive an abdominal massage. ( For Vaginal birth). If C-section was necessary Mama’s may receive this treatment between 6- 8 weeks depending on tenderness.

Many birth complications can be eased with this simple and safe, easy massage. The massage helps to maintain the uterus in optimal position for giving birth. Well being of the mother and baby are improved as they prepare for labour and delivery. For women who have had a C-Section delivery, this technique is beneficial for breaking up scar tissue, in the same way it works for women who have had hysterectomies.
